METAMORPHOSIS

Maka Dadiani is known as a highly versatile artist, who is always in search, and always eager to embrace new challenges and accomplishments. Today, as world and humanity are facing enormous changes, Maka's creation has also gone through a serious stylistic transformation. The artist introduces a new style that she calls "Metamorphosis", distinguished by clear and intense colours. Maka deliberately uses a limited, reduced colour palette, which is mainly dominated by white, black, brown, and gold. Through the contrasting gamma, the artist achieves an emotional mood on the canvas. Her abstract vision and ability of form simplification are rooted in deep academic mastery, evident at first glance. The artist does not impose her concept on the viewer; on the contrary – the viewer is given an opportunity for reflection and interpretation of the subject.

The exhibition takes place at the Art International Zurich 2020, from 1st to 4th of October 2020, at the Booth #19. Maka Dadiani Art is represented and supported by the Foundation Artists-Way and The Embassy of Georgia to The Swiss Confederation and The Principality of Liechtenstein.
